Dragon Lords Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated: 28th Oct 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Design Forge Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects and uses personal information when you use Dragon Lords and related services.

1. Who We Are

Dragon Lords is operated by Design Forge Ltd, United Kingdom. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Privacy contact: hello@01solutions.co.uk
Company number: 09077476
Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, England

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Dragon Lords, we may process:

  • your email address, account name and password hash if you register;
  • a guest account, which uses a generated name and a placeholder email address rather than an address you supply;
  • characters, game progress, inventory and other gameplay information;
  • shoutbox messages, stored with the account that sent them;
  • gameplay analytics tied to a hero, such as fights, crafting, gathering, quests, gold, experience and play time;
  • the IP address OVH processes in order to connect you to the game or deliver the website;
  • server and diagnostic logs; and
  • messages you send to hello@01solutions.co.uk, which we read in Gmail.

The game and the Dragon Lords website run on a dedicated server hosted by OVH in France. The website does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not ask you to create an account. We do not collect a separate profile of your device or operating system. We do not offer real-money purchases, and we do not collect payment card details. The login token for a guest account is stored on the device.

3. Why We Use Your Information

We process information to:

  • create accounts, authenticate players and save game progress;
  • provide multiplayer features, including the shoutbox, and operate the game economy;
  • reply if you contact us for support;
  • maintain security, investigate abuse and detect cheating;
  • diagnose bugs and improve game performance and balancing during alpha; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

Providing the game you asked to play, including accounts, guest play, saved progress, multiplayer and the game economy, is done to perform our contract with you.

Security, investigating abuse, detecting cheating, fixing bugs and balancing the alpha are legitimate interests in operating a safe game and improving it while it is in testing. Gameplay analytics stay linked to a hero id, so this is not anonymous analysis. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, as described under Your Rights.

We process information where the law requires it. We do not currently rely on consent, because we do not send marketing email and the website does not set non-essential cookies.

4. Alpha Testing and Analytics

During alpha development we record gameplay events on our own server so we can find bugs and balance Dragon Lords. Those events are tied to a hero id. We do not use a third-party analytics or crash-reporting service, and we do not set analytics cookies on the website, so we do not ask for cookie consent.

5. Guest Accounts

Guest accounts have a unique account and hero on our systems, together with that hero’s gameplay information. The game stores a login token on the device so it can recognise the guest account. Clearing the game’s saved data, removing the game or changing device can remove that token.

6. Who We Share Information With

OVH hosts the game, the account database, the shoutbox, gameplay analytics, server logs and the website on a dedicated server in France. OVH processes that information as needed to supply the server.

We do not send gameplay analytics to a separate analytics company. We do not use a crash-reporting service, an email-delivery service or a payment provider for the game. Messages sent to hello@01solutions.co.uk are stored by Google, because we read that mailbox in Gmail.

We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We do not sell players’ personal information.

7. International Transfers

Game accounts, characters, shoutbox messages, gameplay analytics, server logs and the website are hosted in France, in the European Economic Area. The United Kingdom’s adequacy regulations for the EEA cover that transfer. OVH’s data-processing terms cover its hosting of that server.

Messages in the Gmail mailbox may be processed by Google in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and that certification covers the transfer.

You can email us if you want more detail about those safeguards.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep account, character, inventory and other gameplay information for as long as the account exists. If you ask us to delete an account, we will delete that information unless we need to keep a specific record for a legal claim.

Server and diagnostic logs are kept on that server. They are not given a fixed deletion date.

Shoutbox messages are stored on our servers. The game shows the most recent messages. Older messages are not automatically deleted.

Gameplay analytics are kept in our own analytics database for as long as we use them to fix and balance the alpha. They are not given a fixed deletion date.

Messages you send to hello@01solutions.co.uk are kept in that Gmail mailbox until we delete them.

We do not keep payment card or real-money purchase records, because those purchases are not offered.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive certain information in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

To request deletion of your Dragon Lords account and associated personal information, contact hello@01solutions.co.uk. We may need to verify that you control the account before processing the request.

11. Children

Dragon Lords is intended for players aged 12 and over. Players under 12 are not permitted to create an account or play the game. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 12, we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as Dragon Lords develops or our data practices change. Where appropriate, we will bring significant changes to players’ attention. The date and version above identify the current policy.
